Goodbye July!

I've taught them, " Let's go to work!" (in the morning when we let them out to wherever they will be browsing)  and "Let's go home" -- both reinforced with a generous scoop of black oil sunflower seeds and one animal cookie each.

July was a great month.  Here comes August!

Cutting Garden

Erika has long said she has a brown thumb, can't grow a garden, kills anything she tries to grow.

I disagree with her.  Don't you?

And. that doesn't include the cala lilies, begonias, really big sunflowers and a few other plants that haven't started blooming yet!

 Happy July!

One Word Wednesday

* Even though it was a very hot, muggy evening, the water straight out of the well was freezing cold! Next time we'll need to fill the pool in the morning and let it warm up during the day.  And, figure out how to keep the geese from turning the pool into their personal spa!
