Free Range


Well here they are in all their feathered glory! 


The coop is finally finished and the girls are out to pasture.  So far... no casualties.  



It seems they have a fairly good prey-instinct.  LEAVES were falling from the trees and it sent them scampering back under the coop.  Later a flock of geese flew overhead and it was temporary mayhem! 


THIS... believe it or not... is "The One Who Use To Be Favorite."  She now has a new name...
 "Black Beard"



This is one of the Silver Laced Wyandottes... I can't tell them apart.  I'm a bad chicken mom... I admit it.  I don't have a picture of the naked neck.  He was running around like a doofus and wouldn't stand still long enough.  I'm pretty sure he is a rooster.
